Biography
Driving strategic market adoption of integrated RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) packaging that delivers process efficiency, consumer convenience, product provenance and traceability in the global food supply chain. Successful early adoption of RFID within the Blockchain to provide full trust and traceability from ‘Farm to Fork’, to reduce food waste, manage authenticity, inventory accuracy and build a sustainable food market.
RFID is the wireless transfer of data to or from electronic tags that are attached to items of interest, the technology is fast (reading 750 – 1000 RFID tags per second), reliable, and does not require contact or line of sight to work.
Previously Peter has held senior executive roles in the retail loss prevention and security tech industry. He is a member of a number of associated thought leadership organisations.
